Bhagalpur District Administration reviews Kayakalp Abhiyan progress

The District Magistrate of Bhagalpur, Bihar, conducted a review meeting on Saturday to assess the progress of development works under the Kayakalp Abhiyan. The meeting focused on technical and administrative approvals, budget utilization, and the status of pending projects across various departments.

The campaign involves 4,857 projects across nine departments, with a total budget exceeding 2,012.07 lakh rupees. Current data shows that 1,604 projects are awaiting technical approval and 2,746 are awaiting administrative approval. To date, 91 projects have been approved, 267 are in progress, and 68 have been completed.

The District Magistrate instructed officials to expedite the approval processes to ensure that delays do not hinder development. Officials were also directed to maintain construction quality, ensure inter-departmental coordination, and complete all projects within the stipulated timelines.
