Bhilwara Police seize 10.94 lakh rupees in cash during checkpoint

Police in Gangapur, Bhilwara, seized 10,94,500 rupees in suspicious cash from a car during a checkpoint operation on Sunday night. The driver, identified as Shahadat Ali of Jaipur, was arrested after failing to provide satisfactory explanations or documentation regarding the source of the funds.

The vehicle and the cash were confiscated under relevant legal sections. A foreign national traveling in the car was released following an investigation that confirmed they possessed a valid passport and visa. Authorities are currently investigating the origin and intended purpose of the seized money.
