Bhoomi Shetty discusses role in Mahakali film

Actor Bhoomi Shetty has discussed her experience playing the titular character in the upcoming film ‘Mahakali – The End Begins’, part of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe. Shetty, who previously appeared in ‘Ikkat’ and participated in ‘Bigg Boss Kannada Season 7’, noted that the role required a rigorous selection process involving auditions, look tests, and a month of preparation.

Shetty described the project as a significant career leap into Telugu cinema. She shared that the character helped her explore inner strength and personal growth. The film is currently in its final stages of filming, with patchwork work remaining. Shetty also noted the experience of working alongside actors Akshaye Khanna and Khushbu Sundar.
