Bhopal lawyer found dead on railway tracks after five days missing

The body of Vishal Ramnani, a 29-year-old lawyer who had been missing for five days, was discovered on railway tracks near the Bhopal railway station on Saturday morning. Ramnani, a resident of the Irani Market area and a practitioner at the Bhopal District Court, was last seen on the night of October 5.

According to his family, Ramnani went out for a walk around 11:00 PM on October 5 and did not return. His mobile phone was later found in the storage compartment of an Activa scooter parked near his home, but his whereabouts remained unknown until the discovery of his body.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) has registered a case of unnatural death and has launched an investigation to determine the exact cause and circumstances surrounding his death. Previously, the Hanumanganj police had filed a case against an unidentified person under section 140(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) following a complaint by his sister.
