Twisha Sharma death in Bhopal sparks suicide‑dowry dispute and court battles

Twisha Sharma, a 31‑year‑old former Miss Pune and actress, was found hanging at her marital home in the Katara Hills area of Bhopal on 12 May 2026. Police Commissioner Sanjay Kumar stated that the post‑mortem report shows “anti‑mortem hanging” and concluded that the death was a suicide, not murder.
