Bhopal selected as training venue for Indian shooting contingent

The Indian shooting contingent is scheduled to begin its final training camp for the Asian Games in Bhopal this Monday. Experienced pistol shooter Rahi Sarnobat has endorsed Bhopal as an ideal venue for this crucial preparation phase, noting that the city's temperature and humidity levels closely resemble the conditions expected at the competition venue.

Athletes will utilize the camp to fine-tune their skills and work on maintaining mental composure under competition-like conditions. Sarnobat also highlighted the significant development of the Madhya Pradesh Shooting Academy over the last several years.

Government initiatives, including the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) and Khelo India, continue to provide essential financial and equipment support to elite and young athletes, helping to build a robust support system for Indian shooters.
