Bhoramdev Corridor construction progress reviewed by Chhattisgarh ministers
Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Tourism and Culture Minister Rajesh Agrawal reviewed the progress of the Bhoramdev Corridor project in Kabirdham. The project, being developed under the Swadesh Darshan Yojana at an estimated cost of approximately 146 crore rupees, faced criticism from officials due to construction speeds failing to meet expectations.
Expressing dissatisfaction with the pace of work, the ministers directed contractors and construction agencies to implement clear 15-day action plans to ensure tangible progress on-site. Deputy Chief Minister Sharma warned that negligence would not be tolerated, stating that contractors failing to meet targets could be removed from their duties, face legal action under contract terms, or be blacklisted.
Officials emphasized that the development of the Bhoramdev area is a long-term strategic project designed to meet future needs. Consequently, all construction must adhere to strict quality and technical standards, with sufficient machinery and human resources deployed to accelerate the timeline.
