Bhubaneswar-Bangkok direct flights to resume October 2

Direct international flight services between Bhubaneswar and Bangkok are scheduled to resume on October 2. Operated by IndiGo, the flights will initially run twice a week.

Under the initial schedule, flights from Bangkok will arrive in Bhubaneswar on Tuesdays and Saturdays, with departures from Bhubaneswar to Bangkok occurring on Mondays and Fridays. A revised schedule will take effect after October 26, changing arrival days from Bangkok to Mondays and Thursdays, and departures from Bhubaneswar to Tuesdays and Fridays.

The resumption of this route aims to restore international connectivity at Biju Patnaik International Airport, which had previously seen services to destinations like Singapore and Abu Dhabi suspended due to rising fuel costs and lower demand. The new service is expected to benefit travelers from Odisha and neighboring regions by establishing Bhubaneswar as a potential connectivity hub.
