Indian actress Bhumi Pednekar visited the historic Achaleshwar Mahadev Mandir in Gwalior to offer prayers to Lord Shiva. The actress shared glimpses of her spiritual visit on social media, including photos and videos of her participating in the Aarti and chanting mantras.

The Achaleshwar Mahadev Mandir is estimated to be approximately 750 years old and is renowned for its Swayambhu Shivling. According to local tradition shared by Pednekar, the deity is named ‘Achaleshwar’—meaning the one who cannot be moved—because historical attempts by kings to relocate the Shivling using elephants and chains were unsuccessful.

Pednekar noted the profound spiritual energy and peace experienced at the temple site.
