Bhumjaithai Party members attend Newin Chidchob's birthday

Members of the Bhumjaithai Party, including ministers and MPs, recently gathered in Buriram to celebrate the 68th birthday of Newin Chidchob, president of Buriram United. The event was held privately at Chang Arena due to ongoing flooding in several provinces.

Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport, addressed concerns regarding the gathering, stating that the attendance was a long-standing annual tradition of friendship and did not constitute a political meeting. He clarified that party members in flood-affected areas, such as Ayutthaya and Ang Thong, remained in their districts to manage flood relief efforts, specifically noting that three Deputy Ministers of Interior were actively assisting victims in the Bangkok area.

Various party members and officials, including Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Suchart Chomklin, shared photos of the celebration on social media. Pipat emphasized that no political discussions took place and that the gathering was strictly a personal celebration following local traditions.
