Bhuvan Bam recounts horse-riding accident on ‘The Revolutionaries’ set

Actor Bhuvan Bam has shared details regarding a frightening horse-riding incident that occurred during preparations for the upcoming Prime Video period drama, ‘The Revolutionaries’. While training at Juhu Beach for his role as revolutionary Rash Behari Bose, Bam experienced a scare when a horse, used for wedding functions, suddenly ran off with him after its leg became caught in plastic. Bam described the experience as terrifying, noting he was “literally hanging from the horse” and remained shaken for several days.

The incident led to significant anxiety for the actor regarding future filming requirements. To resolve an upcoming action sequence involving his character and General Dyer, Bam suggested a production adjustment to director Nikkhil Advani. Actor Jason Shah, an experienced rider, performed the horse-riding portions of the scene, while Bam utilized a bike for his part of the sequence.

‘The Revolutionaries’ is inspired by true events from India’s freedom struggle and is based on Sanjeev Sanyal’s book. The series is directed by Nikkhil Advani and produced by Emmay Entertainment.
