Biała Podlaska hospital merges with Adampol lung disease center

The Provincial Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska has consolidated with the Independent Public Health Care Center for Tuberculosis and Lung Diseases in Adampol. As of July 1, 2026, the Adampol facility has been integrated into the organizational structures of the Biała Podlaska hospital through an acquisition process.

Under this arrangement, the Provincial Specialist Hospital has assumed the tasks, assets, rights, and obligations of the Adampol center. This move is intended to maintain organizational, legal, and personnel continuity while ensuring uninterrupted services funded by the National Health Fund.

Artur Kozioł, Director of the Provincial Specialist Hospital in Biała Podlaska, stated that the consolidation aims to provide patients with stable and secure access to specialized treatment. The Adampol site will retain its strategic importance for long-term treatment and isolation of patients with respiratory diseases, particularly tuberculosis, while benefiting from the expanded diagnostic capabilities of the Biała Podlaska hospital.
