Biadene thieves exploit blackout to target residential buildings

Thieves targeted residential buildings in Biadene, a hamlet of Montebelluna, taking advantage of a temporary public lighting blackout caused by recent bad weather. The intruders entered an apartment building on via Carlo Moretti between 8:00 PM and 9:30 PM.

One resident, Enrico Gallo, reported that the thieves entered his home by lifting a shutter and forcing a window handle. While Gallo stated that nothing appeared to have been stolen from his residence, the intruders ransacked the property. Gallo also noted that the thieves used stones to neutralize his large dog. The incident has caused significant distress to his two young children.
