Bianalisi acquires Coram, expanding Italy's diagnostic network
The Friuli‑based health services company Coram has been incorporated into the Bianalisi Group, Italy's largest integrated diagnostics network. Bianalisi operates in 13 regions with more than 400 facilities, including laboratories, sampling points, outpatient clinics and imaging centres, serving over 15,000 patients daily and performing around 20 million laboratory analyses and 1.5 million imaging procedures each year. The group employs roughly 1,500 staff and works with more than 2,000 medical professionals.
Coram, which assists over 100,000 users annually—both private patients and those under the national health service (SSN)—and supports about 2,000 companies with occupational health, safety and welfare services, will benefit from Bianalisi’s scale, investment capacity and national reach. The acquisition is presented as a strategic move to reinforce Coram’s territorial role in healthcare, enhance service quality, and open new growth opportunities.
The combined entity aims to leverage Coram’s expertise in integrated health services and Bianalisi’s extensive diagnostic infrastructure to strengthen Italy’s private health sector.
