Bianca Andreescu eliminated in Guadalajara Open opening round

Canadian tennis player Bianca Andreescu was eliminated in the opening round of the Guadalajara Open. She lost in straight sets to the sixth seed, Cristina Bucsa of Spain.

The WTA 500 match lasted one hour and 37 minutes, with Bucsa winning 6-4, 6-3. Andreescu recorded one ace and four double faults, winning five of ten service games and two of nine return games. Bucsa, who won seven of nine service games, advances to the Round of 16 to face Panna Udvardy of Hungary.
