Biblical archaeology theories focus on Noah’s Ark and the Ark of the Covenant
Discussions regarding the potential discovery of biblical artifacts continue to circulate within archaeological and theological circles. Historical claims regarding Noah’s Ark have surfaced repeatedly over centuries, ranging from early historians like Josephus to 19th-century scholars claiming to have recovered wooden fragments from Mount Ararat.
Separately, filmmaker Dinesh D’Souza has discussed theories regarding the location of the Ark of the Covenant. While many theories suggest the artifact was moved far from Jerusalem to avoid Babylonian destruction, D’Souza noted a school of thought suggesting it may remain within the confines of the City of David. He characterized the discovery of either Noah’s Ark or the Ark of the Covenant as potentially the most significant findings in biblical archaeology.
