Biblioplaya de Sanlúcar celebrates 20 years of beachside cultural services

The Biblioplaya de Sanlúcar has celebrated 20 years of providing cultural services on the beach. Founded by teachers Rafael Pablos and José Luis Castaño from CEIP El Picacho, the initiative has become a consolidated summer cultural staple in Sanlúcar de Barrameda with continuous support from the local City Council.

The project relies on the dedication of the ‘Luis de Eguílaz’ Book and Library Friends Association, along with volunteers from the Ampicapacho association and the ‘Mardeleva’ Reading Club. The service offers a wide selection of books, newspapers, and magazines for loan, alongside activities for children and the general public, including book presentations.
