Băiculești: 58-year-old man found dead in dam

Police in Argeș County have launched a criminal investigation following the discovery of a 58-year-old man's body in the Zigoneni dam area, near Băiculești. The deceased, a resident of Curtea de Argeș, was found floating on the water surface.

A vehicle was also identified and recovered from the mouth of the intake canal. Preliminary investigations suggest a causal link between the man and the car found in the water. Authorities are working to determine the exact circumstances of the tragedy. The case has been opened as a criminal file for manslaughter under the coordination of the Curtea de Argeș Prosecutor's Office.
