Bicyclist dies in vehicle collision in Rochester

An adult male bicyclist died after being struck by a van in northwest Rochester, Minnesota. The collision occurred around 7:40 p.m. at the intersection of 41st Street and West Circle Drive.

The victim was transported by ambulance to St. Marys Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. His identity has not been released. The driver of the van was not injured and remains unidentified by police.

The Rochester Police Department Forensic Mapping Unit processed the scene, resulting in a partial closure of the intersection for investigation.
