Biedronka and Żabka face criticism over future-dated pricing

Retailers Biedronka and Żabka are facing criticism regarding pricing transparency. Reports indicate that some stores are displaying promotional prices on shelves that do not take effect until the following day.

In these instances, the promotional price is displayed in large font, while the effective date is printed in extremely small text, making it difficult for customers to identify when the discount applies. Some staff members have reportedly struggled to read the dates due to the microscopic font size. Such practices may conflict with Polish laws regarding the clear and unambiguous display of prices for goods and services.
