Bielefeld residents attempt to sell boss's gift on ‘Bares für Rares’

Undine Rönn and her colleague Julian Recker from Bielefeld appeared on the ZDF television program ‘Bares für Rares’ to sell an item gifted to them by their employer. The object, a heavy adhesive roller produced by a Japanese manufacturer in the 1980s, had become redundant at their photo studio due to digitalization.

Rönn explained to host Horst Lichter that while the gift was well-intentioned, the roller had become a nuisance at home after causing several minor cuts. The pair decided to attempt to sell the item on the show to convert the unwanted gift into cash.
