Biella confirms support for ATP Challenger tennis tournament

The City of Biella has confirmed its support for the ATP Challenger Biella – Torneo Internazionale Biella Collezioni. The professional tennis tournament is scheduled to take place from September 13 to 20 at the Centro Sportivo Comunale Tennis Biella.

The municipal council approved an extraordinary contribution of 15,000 euros to Tennis Lab S. r. l. for the organization of the event. The funding is intended to recognize the tournament's sporting and territorial importance, as it attracts athletes, technicians, and staff from multiple nations, promoting the image of Biella through official ATP Challenger Tour channels.

Mayor Marzio Olivero stated that the municipality intends to support international sporting events that provide added value to the territory through regulated procedures and precise controls. The contribution will be disbursed only after the event, based on documented and eligible expenses.
