Bielsko-Biała road safety educational site faces neglect

The Road Traffic Town on Błonia in Bielsko-Biała has fallen into a state of neglect, prompting calls for urgent maintenance. Local resident concerns regarding the safety of the educational facility led to an inspection by Roman Matyja.

Observations indicate that the site requires cleaning, technical improvements, and aesthetic updates. Specific issues include protruding branches, withered trees, and the need to refresh both vertical and horizontal road markings. There is currently ambiguity regarding whether the city of Bielsko-Biała or another entity, such as the TKKF, is responsible for the management and upkeep of the facility.

Matyja emphasized the importance of the site as an educational tool for children and youth to learn traffic safety and bicycle riding. He questioned the example being set for children when the very location designed for safety training appears unmaintained.
