Bientina inaugurates Madonna del Sacro Cuore elderly care facility

The Madonna del Sacro Cuore RSA and Day Center has been inaugurated in Bientina. Managed by the Fondazione Madonna del Soccorso ETS of Fauglia, the facility is designed to provide qualified assistance to non-self-sufficient elderly residents.

The structure can accommodate 48 elderly residents in a basic module and an additional 5 guests under a semi-residential regime. It is intended for accreditation and agreement with the Asl Toscana Nord Ovest. The facility will be staffed by approximately 42 employees, including nurses, caregivers, animators, physiotherapists, and administrative and kitchen staff. Additionally, four catechist sisters will serve as basic care assistants.

Directed by Dr. Maria Regina Banti, the three-story facility includes assisted bathrooms, an infirmary, physiotherapy spaces, activity rooms, and a garden. A key feature of the project is its integration with the Bientina community, including a physiotherapy room with direct access to the town square to facilitate adapted physical activity programs for local seniors.
