Big 12 Match Play concludes in Salt Lake City

The Big 12 Match Play golf tournament in Salt Lake City, Utah, concluded on Wednesday, October 14, following disruptions caused by weather and time constraints. Due to these factors, the fifth round of the tournament was canceled, and co-champions will be crowned based on the results of the fourth round.

In the tournament action, the University of Utah faced Iowa State in pool play, losing 2-3 despite individual wins from Jack Jerge and Jan Farre. The Utes were scheduled to face Colorado in the fourth round following the weather postponement.

UCF also completed its fall campaign during the event. After an initial 0-5 loss to Oklahoma State, the Knights secured a 1.5-3.5 victory against Cincinnati and a 1-4 loss to Arizona. They concluded the tournament with a 2.5-2.5 tie against TCU, highlighted by individual victories from Cunningham and Hejlek.
