Big 5 Construct Nigeria to showcase industry solutions in Lagos
The sixth edition of Big 5 Construct Nigeria is scheduled to take place from 22 to 24 September 2026 at the Landmark Centre in Lagos. The event is expected to host over 10,000 professionals, including architects, engineers, developers, and contractors, alongside more than 165 exhibitors representing approximately 20 countries.
The exhibition will showcase a wide range of industry solutions, including digital construction technologies, modular construction, mechanical and electrical services, and building materials such as concrete, cement, steel, and aluminium. The event aims to connect Nigerian industry leaders with international suppliers to support the country’s expanding built environment.
Nigeria’s construction sector is seeing significant activity, with output recorded at approximately $54 billion in 2025. Projections suggest a growth rate of 3.1 percent in 2026, with an average annual growth of 3.2 percent expected between 2027 and 2030. This expansion is driven by ongoing investments in transport, housing, energy, and industrial infrastructure. Additionally, the Federal Government’s initiative to establish Building Materials Manufacturing Hubs aims to strengthen domestic supply chains and reduce reliance on imports.
