Big Band Jazz Cuneo performs at Caraglio's Madonna del Castello

On Friday 31 July 2026 at 21:15, the Big Band Jazz Cuneo (BBJC) will take the stage on the grounds of the Madonna del Castello sanctuary in Caraglio, Italy. The concert is part of the SconfinaMenti cultural programme and marks the first live‑music event in the festival.

The ensemble, composed of 14 musicians and conducted by acclaimed saxophonist Claudio Chiara, will be joined by celebrated jazz vocalist Barbara Raimondi. The repertoire will honour jazz legends such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Miles Davis and Herbie Hancock, with some pieces arranged by Chiara himself. If inclement weather occurs, the performance will be relocated to the Cinema Teatro Contardo Ferrini.

The event is organized by the Associazione Culturale Contardo Ferrini and aims to bring the community together through the combined power of big‑band sound and vocal artistry.
