Big Blue Marble adds multiview capability to Cloud Video Kit

Big Blue Marble has introduced live multiview channel capabilities to its Cloud Video Kit platform. This upgrade is powered by AWS Elemental Dynamic Multiview, a feature of AWS Elemental MediaPackage.

The technology allows multiple live sources—such as different camera angles or concurrent sporting events—to be combined into a single HLS or DASH stream at the point of delivery. Because layouts are assembled on demand rather than being pre-rendered, costs scale based on the number of encoded source streams rather than the total number of possible layout combinations.

Viewers can choose and arrange feeds across their screens, and the entire stream is protected by a single DRM key. This functionality works on any end-user device without the need for custom SDKs or special integrations. The feature integrates directly into the existing Cloud Video Kit infrastructure, which includes encoding, packaging, distribution, forensic watermarking, and fraud detection.
