Big Brother Australia moves to Brisbane for 2026 season

Network 10 has announced that Big Brother Australia will relocate from the Gold Coast to Brisbane for its 2026 season. Construction has officially commenced on a new house at the Screen Queensland Studios in Hemmant.

The move represents a significant reset for the franchise. The upcoming season is expected to feature a return to live elements, including live nominations, live evictions, and live streaming. Host Mel Tracina will return for the new season, which aims to provide a longer viewing window for audiences to follow housemate interactions and alliances.

Casting applications for the new group of housemates are currently open and are scheduled to close on 31 August 2026.
