Big Brother housemate Charlotte Nott quits ITV reality series
Charlotte Nott, an 18-year-old student from Oxford, has voluntarily quit the ITV reboot of Big Brother. Her departure marks the first time a civilian contestant has left the show voluntarily since its return to ITV in 2023. The last voluntary exit from the franchise occurred in 2018 during its final series on Channel 5.
Sources indicate that Charlotte decided to leave after a chaotic period in the house involving various incidents. She expressed a desire to return home to be with her family, stating the experience was no longer for her. An ITV spokesperson confirmed her decision and thanked her for being a ‘fantastic housemate.’
Charlotte, who lost her hands and feet at age three due to meningitis, had previously drawn attention during her launch night due to a shoe malfunction that required her to enter the house without her prosthetic legs. Her exit comes just one day after a live eviction in the series.
