Big Brother Naija housemates Aikou and Flora regain prize eligibility

In Big Brother Naija Season 11, housemates Aikou and Flora have been officially reinstated as full contestants following the ‘Operation Release the Gambit’ twist. Previously, the pair held a special ‘Gambit’ status that guaranteed them a place in the grand finale but rendered them ineligible to compete for the ₦160 million grand prize.

Following a public vote, organizers announced that both housemates have been stripped of their immunity and special roles. They are now eligible to win the prize money but face the same risks as other contestants, including potential eviction if nominated.

The shift comes during a turbulent week in the house. Following discussions regarding nominations, Big Brother nullified previous saves, leading to a fresh nomination slate that includes 15 housemates. Additionally, the total prize pool was reduced by ₦5 million due to housemates violating rules, bringing the current prize down to ₦90 million.
