Big Cass to exit AEW, heads toward WWE reunion with Enzo Amore

The move would pave the way for a reunion with former tag‑team partner Enzo Amore, who together were a popular duo from 2013 to 2017. Their partnership ended in 2017, and both were released by WWE in early 2018. Meltzer explained that plans for a major AEW storyline for Cass fell through after Chris Jericho’s hiatus, and noted that Cass has improved his in‑ring work while Enzo brings nostalgia and merchandising appeal.
