Big Fish to receive limited revival screening in Shibuya

The pop culture media outlet THE RIVER has announced the third installment of its “REVIVAL by THE RIVER” project, featuring a limited one-week re-screening of Tim Burton’s 2003 fantasy film, “Big Fish”.

The screening will take place at Human Trust Cinema Shibuya from October 23 to October 29, 2026. Following previous revival screenings of “Spider-Man 2” and “Donnie Darko”, this event focuses on the acclaimed film starring Ewan McGregor, Albert Finney, and Billy Crudup.

Tickets for the special screening are priced at 1,600 yen. The film, based on the novel by Daniel Wallace, is noted for its visual storytelling and its exploration of the relationship between a father and son through fantastical anecdotes.
