Collegiate athletic conferences release 2026-27 basketball schedules
Major collegiate athletic conferences have released their men’s and women’s basketball schedules for the 2026-27 season.
In the Big 12, Baylor, Iowa State, BYU, and TCU have finalized their conference slates. The Big 12 schedule features an 18-game format, with the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship scheduled for March 9-13 in Kansas City. North Texas women’s basketball will also face Big 12 competition, including a home game against Baylor.
The Big Ten has announced schedules for several programs, including Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa. The Illinois men’s team enters the season with high expectations following a recent Final Four appearance. The conference will continue its 20-game scheduling format for the upcoming season.
In the BIG EAST, the women’s basketball conference schedule features Marquette and St. John’s. Marquette’s schedule includes a marquee matchup against UConn at Fiserv Forum, while St. John’s will host UConn at Madison Square Garden on January 24.
