Big Ten Conference to provide live audio and replay center views

The Big Ten Conference has announced a new initiative to increase transparency during officiating reviews. Starting Friday, September 4, 2026, select conference games will feature live audio between the game referee and the replay official during reviews. Additionally, broadcasts will provide viewers with a view from inside the Big Ten Replay Center.

This move follows similar broadcast innovations implemented by the ACC and planned by the Big 12. The enhanced access is scheduled to debut during three specific matchups this Friday: Purdue vs. Indiana State, Michigan State vs. Toledo, and USC vs. Fresno State. The conference has outlined a series of upcoming Friday games through November that will utilize these enhanced replay insights.
