Big Ten women's volleyball begins conference play

The Big Ten women's volleyball conference play is set to begin with several high-profile matchups. The No. 6 Wisconsin Badgers will host No. 20 Oregon on Thursday, Sept. 24, followed by a road game against No. 10 Purdue on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Wisconsin enters the conference slate undefeated at the UW Field House this season. Recent standout performers for the Badgers include Charlie Fuerbringer, who earned Setter of the Week honors, and freshman Decelise Champion, who was named Freshman of the Week after recording 20 kills in a recent match.

Meanwhile, UCLA begins its Big Ten schedule with two road matches. The Bruins, who hold a 9-2 record, will travel to face No. 18 Indiana on Thursday, Sept. 24, before playing Northwestern on Saturday, Sept. 26.
