Big30 and Pooh Shiesty's Father Plead Not Guilty in Gucci Mane Robbery Case

Memphis rapper Big30 (Rodney Wright Jr.) and Lontrell Williams Sr., the father of fellow rapper Pooh Shiesty, pleaded not guilty on May 1 in federal court in the Northern District of Texas. They are among nine men charged with robbery and kidnapping stemming from a January 10 incident at a Dallas recording studio, during which Gucci Mane and other individuals were allegedly robbed of valuables and threatened with kidnapping.

Both defendants remain in custody with their bonds revoked, and prosecutors warn that a conviction could carry life‑sentence penalties. The case has seen legal turbulence, including the withdrawal of Pooh Shiesty's former attorney, Bradford Cohen, who was replaced by Dallas‑based lawyers. The defendants continue to deny involvement, asserting they had no role in the alleged crime.
