Biga Fair opens for 20th year in South Marmara

The 20th Biga Food, Agriculture, Livestock, and Technology Fair has opened at the Biga Indoor Marketplace. As a major gathering for the South Marmara region, the event brings together representatives from the agriculture, livestock, industry, and trade sectors.

The opening ceremony was attended by various officials, including Çanakkale Governor Doç. Dr. Ömer Toraman and the Export General Manager of the Ministry of Trade, Dr. Mehmet Ali Kılıçkaya. Discussions during the event highlighted Biga’s regional vision projects, such as the Biga Yacht Specialization Free Zone, Karabiga Port, and local railway developments.

In addition to industry professionals, the fair features projects from local students. Representatives from various vocational and technical high schools, including Ayşe Doğan and İÇDAŞ Biga, are showcasing innovative works to promote production-oriented education and young entrepreneurship.
