BIGBANG appointed as first honorary ambassadors for KASA

The K-pop group BIGBANG has been appointed as the first honorary ambassadors for the Korea Aerospace Administration (KASA). This appointment, confirmed by both KASA and YG Entertainment, aims to leverage the group's global influence to increase public engagement and interest in South Korea's national space exploration programs.

As part of their role, the group will lead the ‘Dream Capsule’ campaign. This initiative invites the public to share their dreams and aspirations regarding the future of space exploration. To support this, a dedicated microsite has been launched where fans can submit messages and memories. These messages are intended to be converted into binary codes inspired by the 1974 Arecibo message, bridging the gap between popular culture and aerospace science.
