Members of the Kpop group BIGBANG, including G-Dragon and Daesung, have expressed a strong affinity for various Vietnamese dishes. Daesung recently shared his enjoyment of fried spring rolls (known as nem rán, chả giò, or ram depending on the region) on his YouTube channel, ZIP Daesung, praising their crispy texture and flavorful filling.
In addition to fried dishes, G-Dragon and Daesung have highlighted gỏi cuốn (fresh spring rolls) as a standout favorite. G-Dragon was seen enjoying these rolls alongside phở on the program Good Day. These fresh rolls, consisting of shrimp, pork, vermicelli, and fresh herbs wrapped in rice paper, are noted for being a healthier, low-calorie alternative to fried foods.
