Bigg Boss 20 to premiere September 6 with Reeti Tiwari confirmed
The 20th season of the reality show Bigg Boss is set to premiere on September 6, 2026. Hosted by Salman Khan, the new season will be available on Colors TV and the streaming platform JioHotstar.
Producers have officially confirmed the entry of Reeti Tiwari, a singer, songwriter, and composer, as a contestant. In a promotional video, her father, Bhojpuri star and BJP leader Manoj Tiwari, is seen accompanying her to the Bigg Boss house. During the promo, Salman Khan jokingly referenced Manoj Tiwari's past controversies from Season 4, specifically an incident involving eggs.
The new season features a 10,000-square-foot house equipped with 104 cameras. It introduces a new gameplay concept called 'Extra Jeevandaan,' which may offer contestants a second chance during difficult situations. The house design includes unique elements such as a shark-themed swimming pool and a kitchen designed as a food truck.
