Biggio and Mandelli film new ‘I Soliti Idioti’ movie

Filming is underway for ‘I Soliti Idioti – l’involuzione della specie’, a new film featuring Fabrizio Biggio and Francesco Mandelli. Directed by Enrico Lando and written by Biggio, Mandelli, and Ferruccio Martini, the project brings the ‘I Soliti Idioti’ universe to the big screen.

The film utilizes a time-travel concept, transporting the duo’s well-known characters through various historical eras, from prehistory to great ancient civilizations. While the characters inhabit new settings and roles, they retain their signature traits and obsessions. The story features the return of Ruggero De Ceglie and Gianluca as a father and son navigating these different centuries.

Produced by Our FILMS (a Mediawan Company), Roadmovie, and Vision Distribution in collaboration with Sky, the film will be distributed internationally by Vision Distribution.
