Swiss firms Julius Baer, Bossard, Schindler post strong H1 2026 results

Julius Baer reported a record first‑half‑year profit of CHF 673 million, more than double the previous year’s CHF 295 million. The bank highlighted higher earnings and the absence of one‑off charges, while assets under management reached an all‑time high of CHF 547 billion. Net new cash inflows were CHF 5.7 billion, below the prior period’s CHF 7.9 billion, supporting its 2028 target of 4‑5 % net‑new‑money growth.

Bossard Group announced a 5.3 % rise in revenue to CHF 575.7 million, with currency‑adjusted growth of 9.7 %. EBIT increased 31 % to CHF 72.9 million and the EBIT margin improved to 12.7 % from 10.2 %, while net profit jumped about 41 % to CHF 54.7 million. The company cited strong demand in aerospace, rail, electronics and machinery, especially in the United States and Asia.

Schindler Holding posted a net profit of CHF 542 million on revenue of CHF 5.329 billion, with the EBIT margin expanding to 13.2 % (adjusted 13.5 %). Order intake reached CHF 5.794 billion. Operating cash flow amounted to CHF 617 million. The results reaffirm the firm’s 2026 guidance and its long‑term net‑zero emissions ambition.
