BigXthaPlug arrested in Texas on weapons and drug charges

American rapper BigXthaPlug, whose real name is Xavier Landum, was arrested in Texas following a routine traffic stop. Allen County police confirmed that the 28-year-old musician faces charges including driving under the influence, possession of marijuana, and illegal possession of a firearm.

Following his release from Collin County Jail, Landum proceeded to perform a scheduled concert at the Iowa State Fair. This performance occurred despite organizers of the Country Rising festival canceling his appearance due to an “urgent personal situation.” During his appearance in Iowa, Landum addressed the crowd, stating, “They didn’t think I’d come.”

This incident follows previous legal issues for the artist. Landum is currently facing ongoing legal proceedings stemming from an August 2023 arrest involving similar charges of illegal weapon possession and marijuana possession.
