Bihar BPSSC announces 16 forest officer vacancies, applications open until Aug 16
The Bihar Police Subordinate Service Commission (BPSSC) has issued an official notification for 16 Forest Area Officer posts in the state’s Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department. Online applications began on 16 July and will be accepted until 16 August.
Candidates must hold a graduation degree in subjects such as animal husbandry, veterinary science, botany, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics, statistics, zoology or a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, forestry or engineering. Minimum age is 21 years; the maximum age is 37 years for men and 40 years for women, with age relaxations for reserved categories. Selection will be based on a written exam, interview, physical‑efficiency test and medical examination. Successful officers will be placed at Pay Level‑6 with a salary range of ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month. An online application fee of ₹100 is required, and applications are only considered after the fee is paid.
