Bihar CM announces rapid exam results and new university initiatives

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has announced several major educational reforms during a Teachers' Day event. The government plans to release matriculation and intermediate examination results within one week, with a goal of center-wise distribution. To support students who do not pass, the Chief Minister stated that they will be given the opportunity to retake exams within 15 days, preventing a year-long delay in their studies.

In terms of institutional development, the state plans to establish a new university dedicated to teacher training to improve educational quality. Additionally, the Chief Minister announced that a center for Banaras Hindu University (BHU) will be opened in Bihar and that Vikramshila University will be established within a year. The government also committed to ensuring timely salary payments for teachers and addressing outstanding dues for Madrasa and Sanskrit school educators by September.
