Bihar CM Samrat Chaudhary Promises Land for Schools, Inaugurates New Hospital

Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary announced that government schools in the state lacking permanent buildings will be allocated land for their own premises within six months. Legislators cited that roughly 2,300 primary and middle schools, 700 high schools and 3,000 higher‑secondary schools operate without owned land, and the CM said the pending land‑related issues will be resolved quickly.

On 22 July 2026, Chaudhary, together with Health Minister Nishant Kumar, inspected and inaugurated the newly built wing of Guru Gobind Singh Hospital in Patna, marking a step forward in the state's healthcare infrastructure.
