Bihar CM Samrat Choudhary pledges 24-hour action against crimes targeting women
Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary has pledged that individuals who target or harm women in the state will face legal action within 24 hours. Speaking at a ‘Yuva Samvad’ programme in the Jamuhar area of Rohtas district, Choudhary emphasized a commitment to women's safety and improved law and order.
Choudhary noted that immediate action has already been taken regarding several recent incidents involving women that surfaced via video. He attributed increased female workforce participation to the current NDA governance and contrasted the present security situation with the period before 2005, citing a reduction in dacoity and criminal activity in the Rohtas and Kaimur regions.
During his visit to the district, the Chief Minister also focused on infrastructure, inaugurating the Sasaram Bypass and inspecting the Beda Flyover and a renovated pond.
