Bihar farmer carries 5‑foot crocodile to police station

In Supaul district of Bihar, India, a farmer named Amit Kumar rescued a roughly five‑foot crocodile that had wandered into a paddy field during the monsoon season. Villagers gathered, tied the animal's snout with rope, and Kumar hoisted the reptile onto his shoulder, walking it to the Bhimnagar police station. Police were surprised by the sight and alerted the forest department, which arrived, examined the healthy crocodile and later released it into the Kosi River.

No injuries were reported to either people or the animal, and the incident was captured on video, quickly going viral on social media.
