Bihar government announces key administrative appointments

The Bihar government, under Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, has announced several key administrative and political appointments.

Harendra Bahadur Singh, a former security officer for Nitish Kumar, has been appointed as the General Secretary of the State Citizens Council. He replaces Chhotu Singh, who was previously removed from the position following his expulsion from the Janata Dal (United).

Additionally, Devesh Kumar has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the State Planning Council, a position equivalent to a cabinet minister. Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, from the Siwan district, has been named the Vice Chairman of the State Citizens Council.

These appointments are being viewed as significant moves within the state's political landscape, reflecting the administrative shifts within the Samrat Choudhary administration.
